Simply K interiors circa 2008. Port Credit, Mississauga. The perfect time capsule of a small village on the lake within a growing city on the edge of change. The rapid introduction of the new technologies of today still beyond the horizon.
Guided by a clear intention of creating a boutique shopping experience that curated thoughtful home accessories, art and gifts with a tagline ‘inspired by nature’ offered a quiet approach to work within. Sourcing local, handmade goods, supporting artists and Canadian made furniture was an important element that felt genuine and grounded. The lake-side living community with an artist vibe was a perfect fit.
Customers quickly become friends. Popping in for a browse often turned into hours of chatting and sharing ideas. It was its own little hub of where so many special connections were made. With each season came a shift. New stories and collections were created with a sense of renewal. Everything was cared for with a personal touch.
If you are scrolling by, be sure to stop and say HI! I trust that our virtual worlds can be just as dynamic in creating new experiences, connections and friendships.
